Dr. Andy Nyman, a wetlands ecologist at LSU Renewable Natural Resource and Dr. Chris Green, a fish physiologist at LSU Aquaculture Research facility, will engage participants in an interactive presentation of their research to understand the toxic effects of oil spill dispersants and to assist in the development of less toxic surfactants. Learn what surfactants are and how oil affects the toxicity of sea life. Question and Answer session will follow the presentation. Light refreshments will be served.
