Shawn Zeringue, 4-H Assistant Agent, returns to discuss the parts of a plant with children. After the discussion Shawn will assist children make a “living necklace”. A bean seed wrapped in a damp cotton ball is placed in a jewelry bag and tied with yarn. The jewelry bag can be worn as a necklace or kept at home for observation. The seed should sprout in 3-5 days and can then be planted.
