In conjunction with the Louisiana Art & Science Museum’s exhibit: “Monuments & Metaphors,” LASM curator Elizabeth Weinstein and local writer, Susan Hymel, will talk about Angela Gregory, New Orleans native and sculptor who studied at Newcomb College as well as spending several years in Paris studying under noted French sculptor, Antoine Bourdelle. She returned to Louisiana in 1928 and did commissions and art work in Louisiana for over 50 years.
