Enjoy a family friendly festival of the many cultures that make up the baton Rouge melting pot on Saturday, July 25, 2015, 12 noon to 4 pm., at the Greenwell Springs Road Regional Library. Become immersed in an afternoon of amazing learning experiences as you visit and talk with representatives of each culture, dressed out in their native dress. various cultural groups will interact with the public as they perform their native dances, share samples of their cuisines, memorabilia, and engage you in a stimulating discussion about their cultural traditions. Dances! Crafts! Face painting! and Art Workshops! We will have performances by Native Americans, Roma (gypsies), Japan Club, Les Danseurs de la Capitale de Baton Rouge, IGBO Nation and Belly Dancers. Painting work shops by Randell Henry. Face painting and crafts are for children, teens and the young at heart.
