In celebration of the 10 Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina survivors and to commemorate the lives lost during this tragedy, join us at the Greenwell Springs Road Regional Branch Library for three consecutive Sundays of adult Katrina full- length, double-feature movies, popcorn and a drink. The movies will focus on various topics; everyday heroes and medical and military heroes who risked their lives to rescue countless trapped and stranded survivors; physical, social, and government issues; the babies born during Katrina, and the recovery of the sunken city of New Orleans and countless others.

The 1st feature: Katrina: Send in the Guard (50 Minutes) NR. This documentary examines the role of the National Guard I the Disaster relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The 2nd feature: Inside Hurricane Katrina (90 Minutes) NR. This documentary is an analysis of events, with government audio tapes and personal interviews. National Geographic takes viewers into the eye Katrina to uncover the decisions and circumstances that determined the fate of the Gulf residents.
