Diabetes is the leading cause of lower extremity amputations in the US. People with diabetes can develop other foot problems as well. On Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. adults can come to the Greenwell Springs Regional Branch and hear Podiatrist Dr. John G. Fasick discuss the steps you can take to help someone with diabetes protect their feet. Free blood pressure and glucose screenings will be offered from 11 am until 12 noon.
