Using Digital Microfilm Readers

Archivist Melissa Eastin will teach a workshop on the ins and outs of using the library’s new digital microfilm readers. Participants will learn all aspects of the machines from loading to printing, and even how to adjust images for clarity. We will also discuss the large amount of microfilm available for public use at the library and tips and techniques for searching. The class will be held in the Special Collections Reading Room at 2:30pm Sunday May 21. Space is limited to 5 people. Please call 225-231-3751 to register.
