Adults and teens are invited to the Eden Park Library to enjoy a book talk with history teacher, coach and author of Houston Cougars in the 1960s: Death Threats, the Veer Offense, and the Game of the Century, Robert D. Jacobus. The book details how the University of Houston became the first major college in the South to integrate its athletic program when they recruited Elvin Hayes from Rayville and Don Chaney from Baton Rouge.
