Diabetes is the leading cause of lower extremity amputations in the United States.  Adults can come to the Greenwell Springs Regional Branch Library at 11 am on Thursday July 28, to join  podiatrist Dr. Alex J. Davis for a discussion of the steps you can take to help someone with diabetes protect their feet.  Free blood pressure and glucose screenings will be offered from 11 am - 12 noon.
