Event Details

In recognition of Native American Heritage Month, children will hear various Native American stories, including those of how the Choctaw and Ojibwa tribes got corn, from The Girl Who Helped Thunder by James Bruchac and Tales from the First Americans by M. A. Jagendorf. After the stories, children will use bubble-wrap to paint a wreath of Indian corm to take home. Registration is required and limited to 8 children.
