Dr. Lori Latrice Martin and Pastor Raymond A. Jetson have authored a newly released book, South Baton Rouge. It covers the history of this neighborhood, also known as Old South Baton Rouge, from antebellum America until the present. The book has over 100 images from archives, local libraries, and personal collections. Dr. Martin is associate professor of African American Studies and Sociology at LSU and Pastor Jetson is pastor of Star Hill Church.

This will take place in the Large Meeting Room at the Main Library.
