Are you interested in capturing lost histories? Do you want to conduct an oral history with a family member but you don’t know where to begin? With the increasing availability of digital recording devices, it is easier now than ever before to capture oral histories. Archivist Melissa Eastin will conduct a workshop on Sunday October 23rd at 4pm in the Tech Lab on the second floor of the Main Library at Goodwood. The workshop will cover the entire process of capturing oral histories, from choosing a recorder to the best practices for transcription. Seating is limited and registration is required.
