In conjunction with the One Book/One Community initiative, the East Baton Rouge Parish Library is proud to show the movie "Life on the Mississippi," based on the book by Mark Twain with the same name.  Come see how young Sam Clemens, played by David Knell, fares in his quest to become a riverboat captain and fulfill a lifelong dream.  The inestimable Robert Lansing plays his mentor, Captain Horace Bixby.  The event is free, and we hope you will be able to join us in our continuing celebration of the life of Mark Twain.
