Do you think buying healthy food is too expensive? Are you unsure where to buy healthy food? Or, maybe you want to learn about ways to encourage your children to eat healthier? BREADA is a nonprofit organization driven to build a strong and healthy local food system in Baton Rouge. They also host the various Red Stick Farmers Market offered around Baton Rouge.

 

In this program, BREADA sponsors will talk about the best ways to buy healthy local food and about their great programs that assist low income families access to fresh food using SNAP/EBT or WIC benefits. They will also explain Sprouts, their FREE kid’s club which educates children about healthy lifestyles.

 

Fresh from the farm food samples will be served!
