Event Details

Once again, NOVAC: BR is partnering up with your library to bring FREE filmmaking summer camps to teens, grades 6-12! Students will learn the basics of video production, including design, storyboarding, production, post-production, effects and more, through the hands-on process of creating a video, under the guidance of an experienced local filmmaker. This year, we'll be making films to celebrate the Baton Rouge bicentennial. The final projects from each camp will premiere at Main Library in the large auditorium on Thursday, July 27th. Limited to 15 per camp, registration opens May 1st. Teens may only sign up for one Week-Long Summer Film Camp. Call 225-231-3770 to register and for more information.
