Event Details

This program was originally scheduled Wed. Oct. 27, but had to be postponed due to library inclement weather closure.

When people think of Louisiana, they are immediately drawn to our French culture and heritage, yet the Spanish left an enormous impact on the many aspects that make Louisiana unique. In fact many remnants of the Spanish Colonial period can still be found in Louisiana today! Discover a bit of Louisiana history with speaker Raymond Berthelot, Parks Program Manager for the Louisiana Office of State Parks and adjunct faculty member with Baton Rouge Community College. This fall series is presented by BRCC faculty and will explore a variety of topics to inspire you from makeup to performing arts to history. Join us at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 23 at the Main Library at Goodwood and Be Inspired!
