When people think of Louisiana, they are immediately drawn to our French culture and heritage, yet the Spanish left an enormous impact on the many aspects that make Louisiana unique. In fact many remnants of the Spanish Colonial period can still be found in Louisiana today! Discover a bit of Louisiana history with speaker Raymond Berthelot, Parks Program Manager for the Louisiana Office of State Parks and adjunct faculty member with Baton Rouge Community College.
