Come to the Carver Library on February 16th at 3:30 for the second installment of our Black History Month Film Series to see the story of Jesse Owens’ rise to fame.  Amidst political turmoil and Nazi Germany’s disapproval of the United States’ inclusion of an African-American on their Olympic team, Owens won a record-breaking four medals at the Berlin Olympics in 1936.
