Come and join other adults for the Tuesday Evening Movie. In honor of Black History Month, We're watching Selma. A powerful film that examines the fight to secure equal voting rights, led by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1965. The march from Selma to Montgomery culminates in President Johnson signing the Voting Rights Act of 1965, one of the most significant victories for the civil rights movement.
