Join us as we Drop Everything and Read! When the timer goes off, the activity stops! And we drop everything and listen to a story, or a poem, or some funny jokes! We will bounce toys and balls on a parachute until the timer goes off and everything drops to the floor. Then we read, read, READ, and repeat! The concept of D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) was introduced by Beverly Cleary in the book Ramona Quimby, Age 8. For children ages 5 to 8. All children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required and limited to 12 children.
