After you have bought most of your presents, but before the madness of the holidays truly kicks in, come to the Carver Library to watch a heart-warming Christmas story.  Danny Glover plays patriarch Walter, who has lost his beloved wife just a year ago.  Though unsure he can reproduce his wife’s famous sweet potato pie recipe, and aware that his grown children barely get along, he invites the entire family to come home for the holidays.  He asks that they be civil for five days, but what will happen when wildly different personalities come together after their lives have grown apart?  What will they say when they discover that their father intends to sell their childhood home?
