Celebrate African American History Month with us!  Children ages 7-11 will take turns reading poems by African American writers from books in the library's Children's collection.  We will have the books available at the Fairwood Children's Desk from January 7 where the children can pre-select the poem they want to read.  Children's families are invited to join us.  If there is time after the readings, children can write their own poem.  Space is limited.  Registration is required.  Registration begins January 7.
