Do you want to help set a world record?

The Louisiana Space Grant Consortium at LSU, in partnership with EBRPL, is commemorating the NASA Apollo 11 mission by setting a record with the US Space & Rocket Center. 

Participants of all ages can attend one of the following workshops to customize a straw rocket fueled by the strength of their breath and a stomp rocket powered by the strength of their legs... then launch them all at once at 12pm Tuesday, July 16th!
  • Workshop #1: 3 pm Thursday, July 11th at the Main Library at Goodwood
  • Workshop #2: 10 am Tuesday, July 16th at the Main Library at Goodwood
Take your rockets, launchers, and other fun keepsakes home! All ages welcome!
