IWE Festival, hosted by Councilwoman Erika Green through her Imagination Leads nonprofit organization, is celebrating its fourth year! IWE, which is Yoruba for book, is a one-day urban culture festival that boosts a vibrant array of creativity, art, and culture through literacy. This family friendly festival, usually held at Southern University, brings live music, children’s activities, local vendors, and headlining authors to Baton Rouge and the surrounding communities.
