Bring your bag chairs and join us on the plaza at the Main Library at Goodwood Library on Saturday, March 27th from 12 – 2PM for an afternoon of live music perfect for the whole family! Join us first for Master Minutes from 12 -12:30 when you can learn to dance, draw, and sing from master artists! Then, stay for the live show to hear the captivating singers, move along with the dancers, and use your drawing skills to be a part of the action, all from the comfort of your safely distanced lawn chair on the expansive plaza at Goodwood Library.

This fun, FREE, family event is curated for kids, and entertaining for adults! The Open Air Fair is part of Opéra Louisiane’s Young People’s Opera Program and is presented in partnership with the Main Library at Goodwood, and is made possible by support from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, Rotary of Baton Rouge, and the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.

Opéra Louisiane is the capital city’s opera company that’s been in existence since 2007. It has been recently granted professional company member status by OPERA America. It also received its first grant from The National Endowment for the Arts in 2019. Additional season support comes from John G. Turner and Jerry G.
