Children will put together a mini parachute from a piece of plastic grocery bag following the story, Leif and the Fall by Allison Seet Grant, and excerpts from the books, Magic Tree House: World at War 1944 by Mary Pope Osborne,  I Want Answers and a Parachute by P.J. Peterson, and Impossible Inventions: Ideas that Shouldn't Work by Malgorzata Mycielska.  Ages 8-11.  All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.  Registration is required and space is limited.  Call 225-274-4460 to register.  Sorry, no groups.
