Writing in Color: Sharing Session

Event Details

Find your creative spark with photography and creative writing with instructor Miles Boone. This FREE hybrid course, specifically designed for participants ages 55 and up, will build creative and observational skills thorough writing and photography using Polaroid cameras. Over the course of five weeks, participants will build a portfolio of poems, journal entries, short essays/stories, and photos that inform their writing. Activities and assignments are accessible and will draw from everyday life experiences. 

Workshops will be held in-person & virtually: 
  • In-person sessions will be held 10-11:15am Tuesdays July 6, 13, 20, 27 & August 3 at the Main Library at Goodwood. 
  • Virtual Zoom sessions will be held 10-11:15am Thursdays July 8, 15, 22, & 29. 
  • An “End of Workshop Sharing Session” will be the culminating event of the workshop where participants will display their photography and literary works of art and will be held 10-11:15am Thursday, August 5 at the Main Library at Goodwood and open to the public.
