For our sensory sensitive patrons, we are offering a special time on the first Tuesday of the month.

Patrons are invited to come to the Children’s Room without fear of sensory overload. Any unnecessary light or sound elements will be turned off from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. From the Children’s service desk, patrons can pick up headphones to block noise, sunglasses to block light, and various fidget items to hold while here and return them before leaving. There are lots of books and movies to check out! 

All children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Please join us!
