The Mountain Dulcimer or Appalachian Dulcimer is known as one of the only true Americaninstruments originating in the mountains of Appalachia. The Lagniappe Dulcimer Society herein Baton Rouge is hosting a series of classes teaching the beauty of playing this historicalinstrument. It can be a simple or as complicated as one wants. Every Tuesday in October from9:30-11 will hear the sounds of music at the Jones Creek Library. Instruments will be providedfor use during the class series. If you have ever wanted to play an instrument, this will be the oneto choose.
