Baton Rouge Concert Band invites you to their fall concert, “Art Through Music,” at the Main Library at Goodwood on Sunday, September 24 at 5 p.m. Just as great artworks are a feast for your eyes, their music is a banquet for your ears! Treat your ears and eyes to a fusion of art and music with scenes from The Louvre and movements from Pictures at an Exhibition, before moving onto the next course: operas! Enjoy Nessun Dorma and selections from Carmen. A healthy side of Georgia O’Keefe’s Blue and Green Music will add some color; then, they’ll round out the event with polkas, cakewalks, and other music just for fun!
