Event Details

Did you know that we are all born with a musical instrument inside our bodies? It’s called vocal cords. We use this instrument to talk and to sing. We can also use our bodies to create percussive sounds. For the March session of Books & Music, we will learn to use our voices ad bodies to create beautiful music. Joe Raposo’s book and song called “Sing” (originally made famous on Sesame Street) reminds us that a song “can last your whole life long”. Come sing, dance, meet professional musicians, and experience the many health benefits of singing at the library! Ages 3 to 11. Registration is required.
