Would you like to know how to care for your roses? This presentation will help you enjoy the roses you select\, plant and care for without their becoming a burden.\n\nThe genus Rosa includes over three hundred species and tens of thousands of cultivars. More than 11\,000 are commercially available. Roses offer a wide variety of flowers and structural forms from small container patio roses to climbers and ramblers that can cover a large pergola. Some require little care and others are more “high maintenance”. Visiting rose gardens such the BREC Independence Park Rose Garden can be very helpful in choosing your roses. A tour of the Rose Garden will follow the indoor presentation\n\nTo comply with social distancing guidelines\, in-person seating is limited and registration is required to attend.
